Prof. Cuddapah Ramanaiah, a reputed professor of Telugu hails from a village Ananta Raju pet, Railway Koduru Mandal, Kadapa. Born in middle class agricultural family Prof.Ramanaih simultaneously acquired eminence by his sheer hard work. He had his school education in RVM High School, Venkatagiri and did his B.Com.., in S.V Arts College and M.A., from S.V.University, Tirupati. His Ph.D thesis ‘A Critical Study on the woks of Tallapaka Chinnanna”, which he did under the guidance of Prof. G.Reddy Channa Reddy, a renowned Sanskrit scholar, won the acclaim of many a critic.
