EXAMINATIONS
The students can write the examinations in their respective media except for M.A. (English), MCA, MBA, Library Science and Computers. However, the question papers will be supplied in English and Telugu version only.
Note : 1. As far as possible, the examination schedule (conduct of the examination) will be adhered to the schedule. If there is any change in the schedule due to unforeseen circumstances the students will be intimated in advance.
2.The Centres of University Examination will be notified separately.
3. All the candidates who passed Eligibility Test in any A.P. State University are eligible to take admission in degree under open category.
Award of Degree :
70% and above 1st division with distinction
Below 70% but not less than 60 % 1st Division
Below 60% but not less than 50 % 2nd Division
Below 50 % but not less than 40 % 3rd Division
Pass Marks 35% ( UG, Certificate and
Diploma Courses)
40% (PG and PG Diploma
Students)
Improvement/Revaluation:
There is no provision for writing examinations for improvement under any circumstances in the School of Distance Education. However, Retotalling and Revaluation of papers can be done for which the student has to pay a fee of Rs.50/- per paper. The Revaluation Fee prescribed will be Rs.100/- per paper and Rs.250/- for more than 2 papers. Retotalling and Revaluation will be entertained only within a span of 30 days from the date of declaration of results. All requests in this regard should be addressed to the Controller of Examinations.
Provisional Certificate:
Provisional certificate will be sent to all those who complete the programme successfully by the Controller of Examinations through Registered post.
Convocation form:
The Successful Candidates of Degree/Diploma Examination should apply for convocation form to the Controller of Examinations, Dravidian University. Degree certificates will be issued to the candidates only if they apply for the same. The Degree/Diploma will be conferred in-absentia and will be sent by Registered post within three months from the date of the Convocation.
