Establishment of the Dept: 12-09-2007 Objective
1. To establish a Dravidian Library for Preservation of Palm leaf Manuscripts and paper manuscripts in accordance with the objectives of the University.
2. To Digitalize the collected manuscripts and to publish the rare ones for the posterity
3. To evolve the manuscripts library studies and traditional knowledge studies Present Projects
Editing and Printing of Veera Mahashwara Acharas ( Dr. T. Narayana), Editing and Printing of Kuruhina Setty Purana (Mr. Basavaraja Kodagunti), Preparation of bibliography in Kannada on Indigenous medicinal knowledge (Prof. N. Basavaradhya), Preparation of bibliography of Tamil Siddhas (Prof. T. Ganapathy), Preparation of descriptive catalogue of Manuscripts in the Dravidian University (Dr. T. Narayana). Faculty Position
