A National seminar on ‘Chinnayasuri- In the Context of Modern Language Teaching’ was held on September 17-18, 2007. In this seminar one session was allotted for the teaching of Telugu grammar in degree colleges. Lecturers from various degree colleges participated and the discussion was fruitful. Grammar and Linguistics though different from each other, the main area of discussion is the language. An attempt is made to integrate both the opinions and balance them as far as language is concerned. Resource persons from both the areas namely linguistics and grammar were invited to this seminar to present their papers and express their opinions on Balavyakaranam. The University is planning to publish the papers presented in the seminar in a book form.
