About Prsaaraanga
- The University started Centre for Publications (Prasaaraanga) in 2005.
- It has made a mark in its ambitious project of projecting and popularising the forgotten, neglected and ignored classical treasures of the literature of the five major Dravidian languages.
- Justifying its very name, Prasaaraanga has made itself seen, heard and read here and abroad. Its main activity is publications.
- The publications will be brought out in all the five major Dravidian languages and English, besides a few more popular languages at the national and international levels for popularizing studies in Dravidology and introducing the genius of the Dravidian races to the world, Centre for Publications also addresses itself in bringing out journals in English, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
- Dravidian University Centre for Publications is unique in its way, when we compare to other universities’ publication wings.
- Of all universities in India only Dravidian University publication wing publishes its books in six languages.
- One more important feature of this department is it strives to propagate the Dravidian Culture and Language and reach both the Dravidian and the non Dravidian.
- We take up the tasks of publishing books combining social responsibility and scientific view.
- Our publication wing is like a chariot of knowledge. This chariot includes Tribal series, History, Folklore, Culture, Dictionaries.
