Established in 1997 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with the support of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, Dravidian University is dedicated to the integrated development of Dravidian languages, literature, culture, folklore, history and tribal studies. Located at the tri-junction of three states, it serves as a beacon of higher education in this region.
The Department publishes literature and oratures of India, particularly the texts that contain Dravidian components. It fosters independent and original research, further scholarly investigation and interdisciplinary inquiry.
Enriched by the Dravidian tradition, Prasaranga awakens, nurtures and empowers the reader with critical tools through its publications.
